choose your kayaking trip
Kayak Myak Rentals currently offers three kayaking trips on the Fox River. Trip A starts in South Elgin and ends in St. Charles. Trip B will begin in Batavia, and end in North Aurora. Trip C starts in Carpentersville and ends in Elgin. All are enjoyable kayaking experiences, paddling down the scenic Fox River.
Brief descriptions of the paddling trips along with rates are below. All rates are per boat/person. All boats are singles. Each boat includes a paddle and leash, life jacket and whistle. A credit card is required at time of booking to secure the reservation. Payment is to be made when we meet you on the day of the trip and is cash only. Currently we are not offering guided trips.

Kayak Trip A - South Elgin to St. Charles
This paddling trip starts at Seba Park, just below the dam in South Elgin at State Street and ends at Ferson Creek Park in St. Charles. It is our longest kayaking trip and takes about 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours to complete. Trip fee is $65 per boat/person. |
Trip B - Batavia to North Aurora
This paddling trip starts in Batavia from the first parking lot south of the Wilson Street bridge on the east side of the river and ends at the Village Hall in North Aurora, just before the dam. This kayaking trip takes approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours. Trip fee is $65 per boat/person. |
Kayak Trip C - Carpentersville to Elgin
This trip starts in Carpentersville just below the dam at Carpenter Dam which is on the 31 side of the river off Lincoln Ave. and ends at Voyageur's Landing Forest Preserve in Elgin. It takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Trip fee is $65 per boat/person. |
